INSPECTION MOBILE APP
This is a mobile solution designed to allow not only the company’s Quality Inspection team to conduct inspections but also for suppliers to submit in-house inspection reports for relatively simple product types.
Inspectors can use their own mobile devices to quickly retrieve essential PO details—such as product number, PO number, and quantity—by scanning barcodes from the product packaging. They then follow the checklist poppedup by the app in order to input inspection results, including photos, and submit them. Once submitted, a PDF-format report is automatically generated and emailed to relevant individuals in the development and production teams. Additionally, reports are stored in a cloud server, allowing authorized users to look up and download them when needed.
The app supports both DPI (During Production Inspection) and FRI (Final Random Inspection), enabling users to select the appropriate inspection type. The checklist displayed varies based on the product category to ensure relevant criteria are met.
If an inspection result is marked as "Fail" or "Pending," a notification is immediately sent to the logistics team ans supplier so they can adjust the shipping schedule accordingly.
To ensure smooth operation even in areas with poor internet connectivity, the app includes an offline mode by default. Pending inspection results are automatically uploaded once the device connects to a stable internet network.
