Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information this site collects through its forms, why, and how you can control it.

Who is responsible

This website (nysteve.com) is run by Steve Lee as an individual. For any privacy question or request, email steve@nysteve.com.

What I collect

Only what you type into a form on this site:

• Contact form: name, email, company (optional), topic and your message.
• Services access request: name, email, company (optional), your role, an optional note, and your consent.
• With each submission the server also records the time, the page language, your IP address and browser type — used only to prevent spam and abuse.

Why I use it

To reply to you, to decide on and send your services access link, and to keep a record of our correspondence. I do not sell, rent or trade your information, and I do not use it for advertising or send newsletters.

Services access cookie

If your access request is approved, opening your personal link stores one small cookie (svc_access) in your browser so the services pages open for you for 90 days. It contains your email address and an expiry date, signed so it cannot be altered. It is not used for tracking. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings. The site sets no other cookies.

Service providers

Your information is stored on this site’s web host in the United States and delivered by email to steve@nysteve.com. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when you visit. Visitor statistics, if enabled, use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify individual visitors.

How long I keep it

Form submissions are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact and then deleted, unless you ask me to delete them sooner.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent, or withdraw your consent, by emailing steve@nysteve.com. I will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU, Korea or China), local privacy laws may give you additional rights, and I will honor them.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, submissions are stored in a folder that is not publicly reachable, and forms are protected against automated spam. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable care to protect your information.

Children

This site is intended for business contacts and is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
